Green Campus and Environmental Policy

• Display boards mentioning messages related to conservation of energy to be displayed at relevant places.
• Awareness programs related to environmental conservation are to be conducted under various committees.
• E waste collection should be an ongoing activity in the college. All teachers and students should contribute in the same.
• Annual environmental audit should be conducted in the college.
• Compost pit in the college campus should be managed regularly.
• Use of paper should be minimized in academic and administrative work.
• Use of public transport system should be promoted.
• Single use plastic should not be used in college campus.
• Tree plantation and maintenance of existing trees in the campus should be encouraged.
• Reliance on renewable energy resources should be increased in the college.

Plastic Ban Policy

• The college should undertake awareness programs on plastic pollution
• Workshop on waste management should be conducted for students
• Use of disposable plastic water bottle are banned in the college. This rule should be followed strictly.
• UGC guidelines on ban of plastic should be displayed on college notice board.
