Welfare Measures
This policy provides welfare measures for teaching and non teaching staff during employment. The policy document is prepared in consideration of different aspects for overall development and satisfactory employability to the staff.
Objectives
- To enhance the overall development of the staff.
- To facilitate staff members in their financial/medical/personal needs
- To provide facilities to carry out research/PhD coursework
- To provide opportunities to excel in academics and administration.
- To provide an opportunity to acquire higher education in continuation with service.
Nature of assistance available under the policy for Teaching and Non-teaching staff
- Employee provident fund
- The institute shall provide EPF facility to all Full Time teaching and non-teaching
- Fixed amount from salary shall be deducted every month and deposited in the EPF accounts
- Sabbatical leaves will be sanctioned with full pay to the teaching staff for attending FDP/Workshops/Conferences / who have registered for / pursuing to attend the Ph.D. work
- Six months Maternity Leave with Pay and 3 months Leave without pay.
- Free and periodic health check-ups
- Canteen facilities with healthy food and safe drinking water
- Professional and life skills training programs.
- 50% concession in fees for wards of staff.
- Credit co-operative society facility (deposits and loans)
- Group Insurance Policy for Non-teaching.
- Uniforms for support staff (peons) every three years.
